These particulars are posted following the issuance of a Restraining Order against Academy of Aeronautics Inc. o/a College of Aeronautics (the “business") by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges pursuant to s. 46 (1) of the Act.

Contraventions

The Superintendent has ordered Academy of Aeronautics Inc. o/a College of Aeronautics to stop:

  1. Stop holding itself out as the operator of a private career college in the province of Ontario while not registered contrary to subsection 7 (2) of The Act
  2. Stop offering or providing vocational programs in Ontario, while the Business is not registered, and the programs not approved by the Superintendent contrary to subsection 8 (1) of the Act
  3. Stop advertising the provision of vocational programs in Ontario, including but not limited to the Professional Pilot Program (and all components thereof), while the Business is not registered, and the programs not approved by the Superintendent contrary to subsection 11 (2) of the Act

Required actions

By April 6, 2022, Academy of Aeronautics Inc. o/a College of Aeronautics was required by the Superintendent to provide written confirmation signed by a person with authority to bind the corporation, together with all available supporting evidence, confirming that they:

  1. Have stopped holding itself out as the operator of a private career college in Ontario contrary to subsection 7 (2) of The Act; and,
  2. Have stopped offering or providing unapproved vocational programs or components thereof contrary to subsection 8 (1); and,
  3. Have stopped advertising the provision of vocational programs, including the Professional Pilot Program (and all components thereof) contrary to subsection 11 (2) of the Act.
